We are excited to announce an open call for artists and art collectives to join our virtual art park, Oslo Art Park.
Oslo Art Park will be the largest virtual art park in the world when it opens in May 2024, and it will be permanent! There is no set limit on how many artworks that will be accepted.
Apply for the associated competition and a chance to win an augmented reality production for your art worth up to USD 20,000, along with career-boosting opportunities and the chance to connect your work with the global art and tech community. We are ready to support up to 10 artists or Art Collectives.
This innovative showcase aims to explore the intersection of art and technology by harnessing the power of augmented reality (AR). We invite creators to push boundaries, challenge perceptions, and redefine traditional artistic experiences through the lens of augmented reality.
Oslo Art Park will cover large parts of the capital of Norway, Oslo. It consists of several theme parks containing art and cultural experiences created by artists from around the world.
The virtual parks are placed in existing parks and green areas with the help of a digital fence system that allows access only when the visitor is on site. Each theme park is managed and curated by a selected person or organization with good artistic merit and weight within the theme of the park.
Who Can ApplyThis call is open to both individual artists and art collectives working in any medium, with a passion for experimenting with augmented reality as a tool for artistic expression. We encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and artistic practices. You must be a registered member of Connected.ART to apply.

Benefits Selected artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work in a cutting-edge environment in the world’s largest virtual art park, that pushes the boundaries of traditional art forms. Oslo Art Park will be promoted through various channels, providing exposure to a diverse audience of art enthusiasts, critics, and industry professionals. Oslo Art Park is a permanent virtual art exhibition, and the selected artworks will be guaranteed to be part of the Park for at least a year.
