The Terms of Sale together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and your order, confirmed by an order confirmation, constitute the total contract basis for the purchase.
Where these terms of sale require written requirements, this is fulfilled by the use of e-mail, SMS, letter, or the like.
Parties
The service provider and seller are Connected.ART (Connected.ART AS) directly or as an intermediary (sales agent) of art and art experiences as well as related products and services. All art sold at Connected.ART are sold by Connected.ART as a sales agent on behalf of artists.
A second-hand art marketplace will open later and the parties will then both be consumers under the regulation of Connected.ART’s Terms of Use.
Contact details about Connected.ART AS are always available on our web-site, while contact details for Artists can be found by following the link for each Artist that appears in connection with the item.
"Seller" is hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", "Seller" or “Connected.ART”
“Buyer” is the person who is listed as the buyer in the order and is hereinafter referred to as "you", "your" or "Buyer”.
Product information and price
Product information
The product information is clearly described in connection to each specific artwork, product or service.
Prices
All prices are based on US dollars (USD), but shown in local currency (preliminary exchange rate) and with or without VAT depending on the VAT regulation. In Norway there are no VAT on art sales directly from the artist to the consumer, and as Connected.ART works as a facilitator and intermediary (sales agent) there are no VAT on art and art experiences. On the other hand, there are VAT on other products and services not considered art under the Norwegian law.
The total cost of the product will be visible before the order and include all costs related to the buy including taxes, fees and delivery costs (if any).

We accept no liability for any printing errors in terms of price and information about the goods / services on our website.
We emphasize that we do not have control over your bank's transaction fees and exchange rates which may cause deviations from the total cost stated on our website.

Terms of sale and delivery
Processing of orders
Once Connected.ART has received the Buyer's order it will normally be handled automatically and immediate access will be provided to the ordered artwork(s) or service(s).
If the order is related to a shipment the order will be confirmed without undue delay by an order confirmation by e-mail. It is recommended that the Buyer check that the order confirmation matches the order in terms of quantity, item type, price, etc. If there is a mismatch between the order and the order confirmation, the buyer should contact us as soon as possible, preferably by e-mail: sales@connected.art
Delivery
Usually, the delivery happens automatically and immediately when the payment is registered. The Buyer will then get access to the digital artwork or services. If the order relates to a shipment the goods will be shipped from us within 7 business days after the order is received. If an item is empty or we have challenges with the related Artist not acting on its obligations, we will inform the Buyer by e-mail.
Shipping
Connected.ART will ship the product in accordance with the product description. Shipping costs are calculated based on the shipping address and method, and will be calculated as part of the total costs.
Payment
When you shop at Connected.ART all payments are done electronically and immediately.
Personal information
Connected.ART processes personal data in accordance to EU-regulations and GDPR.

Card Information
When you shop at Connected.ART you have the flowing processing potentials:
Nets: a secure electronic payment solution for Visa and MasterCard. All card information is stored in accordance with the card companies' regulations.
Vipps: a secure electronic payment solution for private individuals. All card information is stored in accordance with solution providers' regulations.
Recurring payments
Some of our services, including our memberships, are linked to recurring payments.
By principle Connected.ART does not want lock-in periods on subscriptions of any kind, so all subscriptions related to recurring payments may be terminated at any time.
Memberships can at any time be downgraded to our free membership.
Return of Goods
Cancellation
Our orders are handled automatically and provide you as a Buyer immediate access to whole or part of the order. In this cases cancellation is not a possibility.
Complaints
If there is a defect in the item, you must provide a written notice by e-mail that you wish to invoke the defect within a reasonable time after discovering it. Connected.ART will then give you information on what to do next. The rules on complaints are found in the Consumer Purchase Act (Consumer Purchase Act).
Right of withdrawal
According to the right of withdrawal, the withdrawal period applies from the day the buyer received the goods and 14 days ahead. If you want to regret the purchase, return the item in the same condition as you received it and attach to the completed cancellation form (included in the shipment if relevant), you will then be refunded what you have paid. Buyer pays return postage. See supplementary information on the right of withdrawal.
If the buyer has not received a withdrawal form in writing on paper or other durable medium, the withdrawal period is extended to 3 months. The right of withdrawal applies to consumer purchases, sales to enterprises are not included in the Consumer Purchases Act.
Warranty
Connected.ART holds warranty as entitled to under the Consumer Purchase Act.
Conflict resolution
Complaints are addressed to the Seller within a reasonable time. The parties shall try to resolve any disputes amicably. If this does not succeed, the buyer can contact the Norwegian Consumer Agency for mediation. The Norwegian Consumer Agency is available on telephone +47 23 400 600.
The European Commission's complaints portal can also be used if you wish to lodge a complaint. This is especially relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU country. The complaint is submitted here.
